How long does it take to hear back after submitting an application?
If you are shortlisted, you can expect to hear from us by email within ten (10) business days. Due to high application volumes, only shortlisted applicants will be contacted. Applications are added to Wincon Security’s Resume Database and securely stored for a maximum of ninety (90) days from the date of submission.
Can I apply to more than one position using our online application?
Yes. If you are using our online application system, please select all applicable roles (e.g., mobile, loss prevention, security guard, etc.) you are open to being considered.
I am only available a few days each week. Can I still apply?
We offer a variety of scheduling options, including:
- Full-time
- Part-time
- Floater positions
However, candidates must be available to work a minimum of 4 shifts on a bi-weekly basis to be considered for employment. Applicants unable to meet this requirement will not be eligible.
Do I need to be bilingual (French and English) to work at Wincon Security?
English (spoken and written) is required for all roles. French is an asset, but not mandatory.
Can I apply if I need a work visa or sponsorship to work in Canada?
Before applying, please ensure your visa or permit allows you to work in Canada. Check the ‘Conditions’ or ‘Remarks’ section of your permit if applicable.
Wincon Security does not provide visa sponsorship and cannot interpret immigration documents. Please consult Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) for clarification.
I have applied but have not received a response. What should I do?
Check your email inbox and Indeed messages for updates. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted within 10 business days.
Can I reapply if I was not selected?
Please do not reapply to the same job posting within six (6) months if you were previously declined. However, you may apply for a different role. If not shortlisted, we recommend waiting 6 to 12 months before reapplying.
How do I withdraw my application?
Once submitted, you will receive a confirmation email via Indeed or our website.
Do you accept walk-in applications?
We do not accept in-person or walk-in applications. All applications must be submitted online through our Careers Page or Indeed.
A candidate returned a missed call but does not know who called them. What should they do?
Recruiters usually leave their name and extension in voicemails. We strongly recommend checking any messages received to determine who contacted you.
How do I refer a friend to Wincon Security?
At this time, our referral program is paused. All candidates, including referrals, must apply through the standard online application process.

- Floater Guard: A flexible guard assigned to cover various sites or shifts based on operational needs.
